The disrespect never seems to stop for Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard.
ESPN posted a graphic to Twitter on Tuesday recognizing Chicago Bulls rookie Lauri Markkannen, who became the fastest player in NBA history to reach 100 career three-pointers made. The graphic compared Markkanen to other hardwood greats and how long it took them to accomplish the feat.

Alas, there was one glaring exclusion here: Lillard, who previously held the record with 100 triples made in 44 career games (compared to Markkanen’s 41). Soon afterwards, the Blazers called out ESPN for it on their Twitter page.
Congrats, Lauri!

Lillard himself later got word, and he reacted with a fitting facepalm emoji.

Of course, Dame is no stranger to being snubbed, and he often appears to use the lack of respect as fuel for his competitive fire. At least if Lillard goes for 60 the next time the Blazers play the Bulls, we will know we have ESPN to blame.
