Dan Hurley, wife attend concert at MSG amid Lakers rumors
Dan Hurley might be contemplating one of the biggest decisions of his life, but it would appear that is not stopping the UConn head coach from enjoying his free time.
The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly trying to hire Hurley, who is said to be undecided about making the jump to the NBA or remaining at UConn. On Saturday night, Hurley took his mind off of things by attending the Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden with his wife Andrea and Huskies assistant coach Luke Murray.
Murray shared a video on Instagram that showed him having a good time with the Hurleys.

Murray, who is the son of actor Bill Murray, joined UConn as an assistant in 2021. He had previously worked as an assistant on Hurley’s staff at both Wagner and Rhode Island, so the two have a close relationship. Murray is viewed as one of two potential replacements for Hurley at UConn if Hurley takes the Lakers job.
Some wonder if Hurley could be using the Lakers’ interest in him as leverage to get more money from UConn. If that is the case, it sounds like the 51-year-old is in line for a big raise.
