Can’t argue with that, can you? LeBron in particular has been defending himself from all sorts of heat lately.
The odd thing about the criticism Russell has received is that much of it has come from within the Lakers themselves. Byron Scott has been very tough on the rookie on multiple occasions, even benching him without stating a reason early on in the year. Kobe Bryant has let him have it too. His name has even come up in trade rumors. It’s a good thing he’s figured out how to cope reasonably well.
