As the regular season winds down, Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey is once again sounding off on the race for the Most Valuable Player Award.
Morey tweeted on Saturday that the sport of basketball has lost its focus on winning and cited the 2017 MVP race, among other things.

With Houston at 53-26, team success is perhaps the best argument that Morey’s star player James Harden has over Russell Westbrook of the 45-34 Oklahoma City Thunder for MVP consideration. The Rockets have definitely been doing their best to call attention to that much lately. Morey also tossed some similar shade at Westbrook’s case for MVP just last month, but this latest tweet of his seems to be taking on a much more defeated tone.
