Griffin presided over the majority of the second LeBron James era in Cleveland, and built the Cavalier team that won the 2016 Finals. He will hope to bring similar success to a New Orleans organization that has seen little of it.
Griffin’s first and most important task as the team’s new president will be finding a resolution to the messy Anthony Davis sideshow. He could certainly use it as an opportunity to bring in a new core of players to build around if he can pull off the right trade.
