DeMarcus Cousins has battled injuries over the past two years that have destroyed his value as a free agent, and it would appear the big man is committed to being in better shape entering next season.
Cousins, who recently signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, looks like he has lost a significant amount of weight over the past few weeks.

Cousins apparently dropped all the weight by adopting a vegan diet, which may be something he is doing just for the summer.

Cousins signed a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors last summer hoping to prove he is worthy of a big contract, but a torn quad muscle at the start of the playoffs coupled with his torn Achilles last year scared teams off. There was also at least one team that was not interested in Cousins due to the potential for him to create drama, so he should have plenty to motivate him with the Lakers next season. Getting into better physical shape seems like a good place to start, especially since he admitted during the NBA Finals that his conditioning was an issue.
