Dennis Schroder hints at desire for trade, eyeing Bucks and Pacers
Dennis Schroder’s days with the Atlanta Hawks may be numbered.
Speaking with the German media earlier this week, the Hawks guard hinted at a desire for a trade and mentioned two specific destinations that he was eyeing. Schroder also suggested some discontent with Atlanta’s 24-58 record this season. Here were his full remarks, per David Hein of FIBA.basketball:

Schroder, 24, was drafted by the Hawks in 2013 and had a career-high 19.4 points to go along with 6.2 assists a game in 2017-18. However, he has three years and $54.5 million left on his deal, which could make him tough to move.
Other than Schroder, the Hawks have little to build around aside from John Collins, Taurean Prince, and this year’s lottery pick. Regardless, the German guard has had some issues in recent months, and with these latest comments, the Hawks (who are in a transitional period having just parted ways with head coach Mike Budenholzer) may decide that he is no longer worth the headache.
