Derek Fisher wants to be back in the NBA — but not necessarily as a coach.
According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, Fisher has been exploring his options and is interested in returning to the NBA as a player.
On Tuesday night, the former Knicks coach posted a workout video to Facebook with the hashtag #Imnotdoneyet.
Fisher, soon to be 42, would be the oldest player in the NBA if he actually found a suitor. He last played in 2014 before coaching the Knicks. It seems unlikely that he’d be able to find work in the NBA, so if he really has his heart set on playing, he might have to go overseas.
In fact, in the interest of avoiding this guy, it might be best if Fisher heads to Europe if he’s going to play again.
