Draymond Green officially reinstated by NBA
Draymond Green’s indefinite suspension is officially over.
The NBA announced Saturday that Green has been reinstated after serving what amounted to a 12-game suspension. In a statement, the league said the Golden State Warriors forward has been meeting with a counselor, as well as representatives from the league, the Warriors, and the NBPA. Those meetings will continue throughout the season.

Though Green can return immediately, the Warriors plan to take it slow with him. The expectation, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, is that Green will require roughly a week to recondition himself for game action.

During the week, there were hints that Green was close to receiving clearance to begin practicing again. The Warriors have four games this week, including the start of a four-game road trip on Friday.
The league is clearly satisfied with Green’s progress after striking Jusuf Nurkic in the head during a Dec. 13 game. Expect him to face what is essentially a zero-tolerance policy going forward when it comes to on-court behavior.
