Dwyane Wade says only team he will play for is Heat
It’s the Miami Heat or bust for Dwyane Wade.
Wade spoke with some reporters at the NBA’s Jr. World Championships in Orlando on Saturday. Wade, who is a free agent, told them that the only team he will consider playing for is the Miami Heat.
Asked @DwyaneWade if he might play in China: “Heat only. If I play the game of basketball this year it will be in a Miami uniform. If I don’t I’ll be living in Miami or somewhere else probably.” pic.twitter.com/HihDxfMfvM

Wade, 36, emphasized how important his family is for him and says he wants to do what’s best for them. That means staying mostly in Miami.
Wade spent his first 13 seasons with the Heat before signing with the Chicago Bulls. That only lasted one season. He then signed with Cleveland before being traded to Miami in February. Pat Riley has said he expects Wade to make a decision on his future at some point this month.
