Enes Kanter is only 27 and should still have several good seasons remaining in the NBA, but the Boston Celtics big man says he already knows what his next venture is going to be after he stops playing.
Kanter was answering a series of rapid-fire questions during an interview with Shams Charania of The Athletic when the topic of his post-NBA plans came up. The 6-foot-10 center revealed that he has been extended an offer to join the WWE and plans to accept it when the time is right. You can hear his response at around the 8:30 mark below:

“I’m definitely becoming a WWE wrestler, for sure,” Kanter said. “I’ve actually already had offers from WWE, but I’ve gotta finish my basketball career first. After my career, I’m definitely becoming one.”
Kanter obviously has the stature to wrestle in the WWE, and it helps that he has a great sense of humor. We could definitely see him gaining popularity in pro wrestling.
Kanter would not be the first professional athlete to make the transition from a major American sport to the WWE, though the latest superstar to make the jump ending up changing his mind fairly quickly.
