The Michael Jordan documentary you have all been waiting for has finally been announced, and it should be worth the wait.
News that surfaced over a year ago about the NBA shopping a 10-hour Jordan documentary was confirmed on Tuesday, as ESPN Films released an official trailer for “The Last Dance.” The 10-part series will be a joint production from ESPN and Netflix.

“Anchored by more than 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the team’s last championship run in the 1997-98 season, ‘The Last Dance’ will have the full participation of Jordan and other key figures from the Bulls’ championship teams, as well as dozens of other luminaries from basketball and beyond,” ESPN said in a media release.
Back in November 2016, the New York Post reported that the NBA and Creative Artists Agency (CAA) were shopping a documentary that will cover Jordan’s career before and after his unprecedented retirement as well as the murder of the six-time champion’s father in 1993.
The documentary isn’t set to air until 2019. Jordan apparently decided to go ahead with the project after seeing how much success another ESPN documentary had, and we’re certain this one won’t disappoint.
