Former NBA player Ognjen Kuzmic was involved in a car accident over the weekend that left him with serious injuries.
Serbian media outlets are reporting that Kuzmic was hospitalized and treated for injuries to the head and chest. Kuzmic was reportedly driving in Bosnia and Herzegovina when his Porsche was involved in a collision with a BMW. His current club Crvena Zvezda called the injuries “severe.”
Kuzmic was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft. He was on the roster in 2015 when the Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. He has since played for several different teams in Europe.
