Fans loved actress Jami Gertz representing Hawks at draft lottery
The big hit of the NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday night was easily actress Jami Gertz.
Gertz’s husband Tony Ressler is a co-owner of the Atlanta Hawks, which led to her appearance at the draft. Ressler asked her to sit on the stage to bring the team good luck in the lottery.
“She’s been responsible for all my luck for the past 30 years,” Ressler said of his decision.
Fans loved seeing Gertz at the lottery. Many commented on her acting roles, such as on “Seinfeld” and “Lost Boys.”

Gertz brought the Hawks some good luck as they landed the No. 3 overall pick. The Phoenix Suns have the top pick, while the Sacramento Kings locked up the second pick. She was the biggest draft lottery hit since Mallory Edens.
