Hassan Whiteside left Game 1 between the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night after suffering an injury to his right leg, which was later determined to be a strained knee.
Whiteside was rolling off a pick from Dwyane Wade and received a pass from the guard, but he slipped on the court at Air Canada Centre and his leg got caught under him:
Whiteside was helped to the locker room by trainers. The Miami big man came back to the Heat bench with 1:48 remaining in the first quarter and gave teammates a thumbs up.
With Whiteside out, veteran Amare Stoudemire saw some minutes for Miami.
