The Atlanta Hawks are struggling through a poor season, and even their own players recognize their issues.
Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 25 points in Atlanta’s 107-98 loss to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. His Hawks blew a 17-point lead and lost to Boston. The Celtics were without Jaylen Brown most of the game, as he exited with a sprained ankle after just three minutes of play.
Bogdanovic combined all the factors to conclude that his Hawks are just “not a good team.”

“When you’re up 15 and they lose one of the top two guys on the team and if you’re not able to win that game, you’re not a good team,” Bogdanovic said after the game.
He’s right.
The Hawks went 41-31 last year and eliminated the 76ers from the playoffs to reach the conference finals. Last season was a great run for them, but they have just not been the same this season.
Amazingly, the Hawks can still have a chance to make a playoff series this year despite their 29-32 record.
