Ja Morant went down with an ankle inury during his Memphis Grizzlies’ game against the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament at Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif., on Tuesday night.
Morant had the ball in the third quarter with his Grizzlies down 82-78 to the Warriors. He made a jump shot from the baseline but rolled his right ankle when he landed. Quinten Post was called for a foul on the play, so Morant remained in the game and made his free throw before heading to the bench due to his injury.

Morant had made it a 1-point game at the time of his injury, which was extremely unfortunate timing for Memphis. He returned to the game with 9:26 left and was limping.
Morant had 18 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 26 minutes at the time of his injury.
The Grizzlies and Warriors ended the regular season with 48-34 records, though Golden State had the 7 seed in the West and was able to host the play-in game between the teams.
