Ja Morant is not playing right now, but his teammates still appear to be feeling his influence.
Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane went viral during Wednesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers for his gun-themed celebration. After hitting a three-pointer in the second quarter over 76ers forward Caleb Martin, Bane pretended to aim and fire a gun at Martin.

Martin was not exactly pleased with the celebration and let Bane know about it.

That celebration brings to mind the fellow Grizzlies guard Morant, who is currently sidelined with a hip injury. The two-time All-Star Morant has a very well-documented history with guns, having gotten suspended on two separate occasions by the NBA for flashing them in social media videos.
Even after his multiple suspensions, Morant himself was doing gun-themed celebrations of his own on the court. Now that looks to have caught on with his Grizzlies backcourt partner Bane as well.
