James Harden drew a foul call on a ridiculous play involving Joe Ingles during Game 2 of the Houston Rockets-Utah Jazz second-round series on Wednesday.
Late in the second quarter of the game, Harden received a pass from Ryan Anderson and turned to head up the floor. Realizing that Ingles was behind him, Harden stopped to force a collision with Ingles running into him. Ingles was called for a foul.
TNT’s Reggie Miller called it a “smart and crafty” play.
Sorry Reggie Miller, it wasn’t a “smart and crafty” play by James Harden. It was another terrible call by refs. Dude deliberately backed into Joseph Ingles to get this bogus call

Some thought that Ingles flopped on the play as well as Harden.
The rare double flop and between Joe Ingles and James Harden and Harden comes out on top.

Technically, the official was correct in calling the foul. However, it’s easy to see why some are confused as to why it is one.
That foul he got for stepping into Ingles was absolute garbage.

Harden steps backwards and puts a shoulder into Joe Ingles, goes to the line. Should be an offensive foul, at minimum

Still can't believe they called that foul on Joe Ingles. It was so obvious what Harden did and it was right in front of the refs

James Harden is getting away with the stupidest crap I’ve ever seen! Foul on Ingles for walking straight and Harden bumping him with his butt!? Common now…. #Jazz #Rockets #NBA #NBAONTNT #NBAPlayoffs2018
