James Harden took a swipe at Aaron Gordon during a scuffle between the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets during Game 4 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., on Saturday.
Harden had the ball for the Clippers with his team down 50-48 with just seconds to go before halftime. Christian Braun was defending Harden and reached in to try for a steal, and Harden didn’t like it. The veteran guard objected and went right up to Braun. Nikola Jokic then got involved, and Gordon came over as well. Gordon pushed Harden, who responded by taking a swipe at Gordon.

Six technical fouls were given out for the scuffle — three for each team. Braun, Harden, Jokic, Gordon, Kris Dunn and Normal Powell all received techs. The first half ended with Denver leading 50-48. The Nuggets won the game by the same 2-point margin, 101-99. The series is tied 2-2, and now there is some bad blood between the sides.
Game 5 of the series is scheduled to take place on Tuesday night in Denver.
