Luka Doncic has apparently been spending a little too much time around Austin Reaves.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar Doncic was photographed over the weekend at the minicamp that he was hosting in his native Slovenia for his Lakers teammates. Doncic was participating in on-court drills while rocking a new look.
More specifically, Doncic was sporting a prominent new headband. Take a look at the photo (which was originally posted as part of a set on the Lakers’ official X page).

Doncic, 27, is coming off a stellar 2025-26 regular season in which he led the NBA with 33.5 points to go along with 7.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. But Doncic still has plenty of unfinished business to take care of after missing the entire 2026 playoffs due to a hamstring strain.
The six-time All-NBA selection Doncic is also facing fresh uncertainty over his long-term future in L.A. With the Lakers undergoing turmoil at the ownership level on multiple fronts right now (from the impending transfer of the majority stake from Mark Walter to Bob Iger and Joshua Kushner to the public infighting among the Buss siblings), Doncic is reportedly being monitored by a number of rival NBA teams.
Doncic himself recently emphasized in a rare public statement that the franchise still has his full support. But with Doncic able to test free agency as soon as 2028, everything that he does will be under a microscope from here (including the aura that he brings to the court).
