Jason Day’s wife Ellie released from hospital after LeBron collision
Ellie Day, the wife of PGA golfer Jason Day, was released from the hospital Friday morning after being admitted following a scary collision with LeBron James.

Day left Quicken Loans Arena on a stretcher Thursday night after LeBron barreled into her while trying to save a loose ball from going out of bounds. If you haven’t seen the video, you can watch it here.
Day was transported to a local hospital and apparently stayed overnight, though it’s a positive sign that she was released early the next morning. LeBron obviously felt badly about what happened and sat nearby Day as she was being taken out of the arena. He also wished her well in a tweet after the game.

The Days live in Columbus, Ohio, and regularly attend Cavs home games. Ellie is popular with fans because she does things like awesome ticket giveaways. Here’s hoping the frightening incident doesn’t discourage her from going to future games.
