Jermaine O’Neal hyperextended his knee nasty style on collision

Jermaine O’Neal left Game 6 Thursday between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers after hurting his knee on a collision with Big Baby Davis.

O’Neal was going for a loose ball after a missed shot and Baby ran into him. You can see in the image below how O’Neal’s knee bent backwards:

O’Neal went down to the ground and had to be helped to the locker room to be treated. At 35, O’Neal may be considering retirement. We hope this isn’t how his career ends. His injury also left the Warriors shorthanded at center; they were already without Andrew Bogut, and now they don’t have Jermaine.
