Jimmy Butler played in the Minnesota Timberwolves’ game against the Golden State Warriors on Friday night after sitting out the previous game, but he will not make it back-to-back appearances on Sunday night.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Butler will not play against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Butler played 35 minutes on Friday night and looked plenty healthy, scoring 21 points on 10-of-23 shooting. While he said he was dealing with some soreness which is why he chose to sit out Wednesday night’s game against the Utah Jazz, it seems obvious that the custom schedule — for lack of a better term — is related to his trade demand.
While he has made it clear he still wants the T-Wolves to trade him, Butler is trying to say the right things when it comes to his seeming lack of commitment to the team.
