Joel Embiid took to social media Tuesday evening to respond to a story involving Philadelphia 76ers president and general manager Bryan Colangelo.
An in-depth story from The Ringer published on Tuesday examined five Twitter accounts that were allegedly used by Colangelo to make disparaging remarks about members of the Sixers, share sensitive information, and criticize former members of the front office.
Later that evening, Sixers star Joel Embiid posted a tweet that appeared to sum up how he felt about the story.

Then Embiid sent a tweet as if it were from a burner account of his own that promoted former Sixers GM Sam Hinkie and disparaged Colangelo. The tweet was directed to one of the Colangelo secret accounts.

Embiid was among the players targeted by one of the Twitter accounts allegedly run by Colangelo.
It’s understandable that he would be less than pleased to find out the person behind the account may be a high ranking member of the organization when those are the people who are supposed to be operating in the players’ best interests.
