
Joel Embiid was called for a flagrant 1 foul for elbowing Jarrett Allen in the jaw during Game 2 of the first round playoff series between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers.
Embiid was driving to the basket before halftime and spun around. As he did his spin, he caught Allen with a huge elbow to the face:

The officials reviewed the play and decided to give Embiid the flagrant 1 foul call. Allen was given two free throws and made both of them to tie the game at 64.
About 30 seconds later, Rodions Kurucs was called for a flagrant foul as well.
After a rough Game 1, Embiid played much better in Game 2 and had 10 points and 5 rebounds in the first half.
