A fan cosplaying as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finally met the real SGA just before Sunday’s game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Clippers at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The cornrow-sporting fan was wearing a No. 2 Gilgeous-Alexander Thunder jersey and even had a white headband on, just like the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player always does.
Gilgeous-Alexander posed for a photo with the fan, who now has a cool story to tell about meeting the former Kentucky Wildcats star.
Here is a video of that brief moment between the four-time NBA All-Star and his look-alike.

The lighthearted moment for Gilgeous-Alexander came before an unexpected setback for the Thunder, as the team may have lost star guard Jalen Williams for the rest of the 2026-27 NBA season after he suffered a gruesome leg injury with just over a minute left in regulation of the Clippers game.
The Thunder picked up a 108-101 win over Los Angeles, with Gilgeous-Alexander leading the way with 34 points on 13/26 shooting. He added six rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block in an all-around performance through 36 minutes of action.
Ajay Mitchell added 18 points off the bench to help Oklahoma City remain undefeated and improve to 3-0.
