Joel Embiid was not short on confidence after his Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Boston Celtics.

Following a game that saw Marcus Smart get ejected for shoving Embiid, the Sixers star made a bold declaration. Embiid proclaimed himself the best defensive player and most unstoppable player in the NBA.

Joel Embiid with confidence after Celtics Win:

“This is why I’m the best defensive player in the league… I’m the most unstoppable player in the league.”@6abc #JoelEmbiid #HereTheyCome

Embiid finished Wednesday’s 118-115 victory with 37 points, including 20-of-21 from the free-throw line, and 22 rebounds in 41 minutes. You rarely have to wonder what Embiid is thinking because he generally tells us exactly how he’s feeling. Some may find his confidence off-putting. I say we need more of it.
