Joel Embiid jokes about ‘freak accident’ that led to injury
Joel Embiid tweeted on Thursday to address his latest misfortune.
Embiid tried to maintain a positive mindset despite suffering a concussion and broken orbital after his collision with teammate Markelle Fultz on Wednesday. He said he had to continue to trust “The Process” and termed the injury a “freak accident.”

The best sign is that Embiid still was able to joke about his situation, calling himself “two-face.”
The Philadelphia 76ers did not provide a timetable for Embiid’s return to action, but one report says he could return in 2-4 weeks.
