Joel Embiid wants to return for Game 1 of playoffs
The man who calls himself The Process does not want to miss out on the Philadelphia 76ers’ return to playoff action.
Joel Embiid is sidelined with a fractured orbital bone and has no set timetable for his return, but the Philadelphia center made clear that he would love to be back on the court when the Sixers open their playoff run.
Hey look who I found: @JoelEmbiid smiling & back to looking much more like himself again post-surgery. He echoed the Sixers saying he’s got no set return date, although (no surprise) he’s super-eager to come back, said “you know if it was up to me, I’d be out there for Game 1.” pic.twitter.com/PxM45Vn580

Of course Embiid would love to be out there, and the good news for him is that he’s out of the concussion protocol. He still has a way to go, but it sounds like he has a chance to play early in the playoffs.
