Joel Embiid has used his injury recovery time to come up with a new nickname for himself.
The “Phantom of the Process” fired up the home crowd before the Philadelphia 76ers’ playoff game against the Miami Heat on Saturday. Here he is wearing a mask and ringing a Liberty Bell replica.

Embiid has been wearing a mask in public lately since he is recovering from surgery to repair a fractured orbital. There is still no word on when he might be back in action for Philly, but with the team continuing to win in the regular season without him, perhaps he felt less pressure to force himself to return early.
