Joel Embiid seemingly laughs at Knicks for Kristaps Porzingis trade
Leave it to Joel Embiid to have the best reaction to the New York Knicks’ trade of Kristaps Porzingis.
Shortly after the news emerged that the Knicks had traded Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks as part of a 6-player trade, Embiid sent the following tweet with nothing but “LOL”.

Maybe a teammate told him a great joke just then. Or maybe he thinks it’s hilarious that the Knicks, who are already one of the worst teams in the league, just got rid of one of their best players.
The Sixers are well-positioned in the East and look to be a contender in the conference for the foreseeable future, along with Milwaukee and Boston, and potentially Toronto if they’re able to keep Kawhi Leonard longterm.
