If you want to know what it’s like to anger NBA veteran referee Joey Crawford, just ask Cleveland Cavaliers big man Timofey Mozgov.
Late in the first half of the Golden State Warriors’ Game 4 win over the Cavs, Mozgov was called for a shooting foul as Draymond Green was going to the hoop. The 7-foot-1 center didn’t agree with the call, and he let Crawford hear about it. So what did Old Man Joey do? Screamed at him, of course.
“Do me a favor and shut up!” Crawford could be heard telling Mozgov.

The best part is the way Mozgov casually walked away, almost as if players are used to hearing that type of stuff from Crawford.
And they probably are.
Remember, this is the same 63-year-old official who admitted he once broke his own finger by slapping someone with such an emphatic technical foul. Crawford has also been known to take aim at ball boys over their mop work and berate scorekeepers in the middle of games. Screaming at a player to “shut up!” is very mild in the world of Joey Crawford.
