The back-and-forth between John Wall and Stephen A Smith continues.
While meeting with the media on Monday, Wall voiced some complaints about Smith’s criticism of him for the timing of his season-ending surgery on his heel. Smith responded via Twitter later in the day and said Wall ducked him when he showed up to games to talk.
Wall got the message and the Washington Wizards guard responded via Twitter Monday night. He said it seems like Smith has a personal issue with him not related to basketball. He also says that one of the times Smith waited to talk with him after a game, Wall was returning from undergoing an X-ray on his foot.

Smith has been taking aim at Wall all season, which explains why Wall thinks it’s personal. Earlier in the season, Smith was critical of Wall for partying too much.
