John Wall responded Thursday to a report that he is partying and going to clubs too much.
Stephen A. Smith was critical of Wall on “First Take”, saying the situation with the Washington Wizards guard is so bad he’s getting pictures from people of Wall partying at Rosebar, a nightclub in DC.

Wall saw the video and responded on Instagram Live Thursday after doing his work in the gym.
“I do go to Rosebar on Saturdays. What, not supposed to party once in a blue while? Where you be at opera? Living room? It’s a long season, everybody don’t start off great. Keep being a fan, I’m gonna keep hooping. If you don’t like it, you can hike it.”
He also liked the Photoshop picture of him with “Rosebar” on his jersey.

This is not the first time the issue has come up. Wall also defended himself last month over the way he spends his leisure time.
Players are entitled to blow off steam and enjoy themselves, but they have to be aware that there will be criticism if they’re spotted partying in public when they’re not taking care of business on the field. The Wizards are 2-8 this season, so of course it’s not going to look good when Wall is at the club while his team keeps losing.
