Bill Walton was in attendance to watch his son’s Los Angeles Lakers take on the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena on Wednesday, and apparently the elder Walton has not yet discovered the convenience of Uber.
After the game, which the Warriors won 117-106, Golden State big man Jordan Bell happened to see Walton walking down the street. The broadcaster and NBA legend asked for a ride to his hotel, and Bell was happy to hook him up.
Jordan Bell saw Bill Walton walking outside after the game tonight. Walton asked Bell for a ride to his hotel and Bell did just that. Can’t make this stuff up folks.

If that’s not Bill Walton being Bill Walton, I don’t know what is. Remember, this is the same guy who tends to say what’s on his mind during broadcasts no matter how controversial it may be. We’re not exactly shocked he was wandering down the street after an NBA game.
