Jordan Clarkson hasn’t seen much action of late on the floor, as the veteran guard appears to have fallen out of the New York Knicks’ rotation.
When New York hosted his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., on Sunday, Clarkson was left warming the bench the entire time.
On Monday, Clarkson shared a post on X that left much for his followers to interpret.
“Experiencing Knicks x Lakers from both sides was tuff,” the former Missouri Tigers star wrote.
It wasn’t exactly clear what Clarkson meant by that, giving way to all sorts of reactions from fans online.

Amid rumors linking the Knicks as a potential trade landing spot for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo ahead of Thursday’s deadline, Clarkson could end up being the one New York moves.
Given his lack of playing time, the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award winner could be more useful somewhere else. While he is averaging 19.2 minutes per game in the 2025-26 NBA regular season, he’s seen just 6.8 minutes of floor time in the last three New York contests.
Clarkson is on an expiring and relatively cheap contract ($3.63 million), so it will not require a lot for New York to trade him.
