Justise Winslow fined for stepping on Joel Embiid’s mask
Justise Winslow incurred a fine for one of the strangest reasons you could imagine.
The Miami Heat big man was fined $15,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct for stepping on a piece of Joel Embiid’s mask during Game 3 of the playoffs on Thursday.

Embiid brushed off Winslow’s actions, saying after the game that he has plenty of masks.
Joel Embiid on Winslow breaking mask:"Little do they know I have about 50 of them. It's going to take much more than that to get me out of this series. I'm going to be a nightmare for them too."

That was a bush league move by Winslow, but shows the heated competition between the Heat and Philadelphia 76ers in their playoff series. We know Embiid, who already put the Heat in check, will have a response — both on and off the court. For now, the NBA has said their piece.
