Utah Jazz big man Jusuf Nurkic was not messing around on the court — and online — on Tuesday.
After putting together a stellar stat line in a 127-122 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, Nurkic saw a post by a sports content creator, Matthew Geist, about the numbers he produced in the contest, which also has a caption that reads “The most hilarious statline all season.”
The post may or may not have been a slight to Nurkic, but the “Bosnian Beast” responded as if he felt mocked by it.
After recording a triple-double for just the second time in his career and first since 2019 when he was still with the Portland Trail Blazers, Nurkic went ahead and showed he had enough energy to make noise in the mean streets of X.
“When the LinkedIn bio says ‘entrepreneur’ but the bank account says relax,” the 31-year-old Nurkic wrote.

Nurkic can’t allow that to ruin his mood after such an impressive performance, as he helped the Jazz snap a four-game losing skid with a win at home. He will look to sustain his form on Thursday, when the Jazz host Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs.
So far in his first season in a Jazz uniform, the former first-round pick is averaging 10.9 points and 10.2 rebounds per game, while shooting 51.2% from the field.
