Just like when LeBron James left Cleveland for Miami in 2010, Kevin Durant is receiving the same treatment from fans and media who say he wasn’t good enough to beat them on his own and that he should have stayed. And just like when LeBron got the criticism, I am standing up for KD in choosing to go to a new team in free agency. It is his right to choose his team. In this video, I point out the hypocrisy in fans and the media shaping the basketball culture by placing the utmost importance on rings, and then criticizing a player for leaving to a team that gives him the best shot at winning.
