Kevin Durant, Grant Williams and Jusuf Nurkic all received technical fouls over a shoving incident that took place during the first quarter of Wednesday night’s game between the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Williams was playing Durant physically early in the game. The Suns had the ball about four minutes into the game and Williams and Durant had sort of shoved each other. Durant ended up falling to the floor, and Williams hovered over him.
Suns center Nurkic didn’t like Williams hovering Durant, so Nurkic pushed the Mavericks forward. A scuffle broke out as a result.

All three players were called for technical fouls for the incident.
Williams and Durant have plenty of history. Williams, who played with the Celtics, defended the former Nets forward Durant in the past when Boston and Brooklyn played each other. Williams has previously called Durant the hardest player to guard.
