
The Golden State Warriors could have used Kevin Durant in their Game 3 loss to the Toronto Raptors, but they will have to survive without him for at least another game.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters Thursday that Durant will not play in Game 4 on Friday night.

There was initially optimism that Durant would be back by Game 4 at the latest, but he just can’t seem to get cleared. We got a glimpse of how badly he wants to return with what one team employee said about him on Wednesday night.
If the Warriors lose Game 4, they would be facing a 3-1 series hole with two of the final three games at Toronto. Friday night’s game is basically a must-win, which makes it even more surprising that Durant is not going to return from his calf injury.
