Kevin Durant already made it known before Thursday’s game against his former team that he wouldn’t be shaking hands prior to the contest, but he also made no effort to exchange pleasantries afterwards, either.
Durant’s new squad blew out his old squad 122-96 at Oracle Arena, as the Warriors used a 36-11 second quarter to pull away from the Thunder. Durant led all players with 39 points on 15 of 24 shooting and was able to rest for part of the fourth quarter because his team was doing so well.
Even though his Warriors got the best of OKC, Durant didn’t seek out his former teammates to share words or rub in the victory after the game. He walked off the floor without talking to them:

About the only words Durant had with his former team came on this exchange with Enes Kanter during the second quarter.
Ultimately, the Warriors proved to be on a different level from OKC.
