Khloe Kardashian revealed this week that she and Houston Rockets star James Harden have ended their relationship, and she claims it is because Harden cheated on her.
On her FYI show “Kocktails with Khloe,” Kardashian said she began dating Harden when he begged her to be monogamous.
“I just don’t want to put up with people that you want to be monogamous and then you’re not monogamous,” Khloe said. “I always said, it’s long distance so we don’t need to be monogamous. There’s a lot of s— going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston, I live in L.A. Like, let’s see each other when we see each other. What girl says that? Why would you say, ‘Ok, that’s great.’ No, instead forcing a relationship by ‘let’s be committed, let’s be committed.’
In other words, Khloe claims she wanted to keep things casual and Harden pushed for more.
“He wanted to be committed, then wasn’t committed,” she said. “So Koko had to let him go, go. … I was like great, this guy is in it for the long haul, let’s do it. Found out he wasn’t and I got the receipts to prove it.”
After Kardashian became Lamar Odom’s emergency caretaker when the former NBA star overdosed on drugs, there were rumors that she and Harden called things off. Khloe later said that Harden had been great about everything and they were still together. But Harden was spotted with another woman roughly a month ago, so the split probably happened before or shortly after that.
