Kings to start Bogdan Bogdanovic over Buddy Hield
The Sacramento Kings are making a change to their starting lineup as they look to shake things up amid a losing streak.
Losers of six straight, the Kings will start Bogdan Bogdanovic in Friday night’s game in Chicago. Buddy Hield will come off the bench.
What’s interesting to note is that The Athletic’s Jason Jones reports former Kings coach Dave Joerger believed that Hield should be a sixth man rather than a starter.
Should be noted that one point of contention between the front office and former coach Dave Joerger at one point was Joerger believing Hield should be a sixth man.

It’s unclear who was behind the move of Hield to a sixth man off the bench, but the team now is at least willing to try out what Joerger believed was the wisest move for the team.
Hield is the Kings’ leading scorer at 20.0 points per game. He’s only making 41.6 percent of his shots this season and shooting 36 percent on threes.
