Knicks alums pose for awesome group picture at playoff game
Wednesday was a big party for the New York Knicks, their fans, and even their former players.
The Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of their second-round playoff series at Madison Square Garden. They erased a double-digit halftime deficit to win 130-121 and take a 2-0 lead in the series.
The game was also notable for the significant number of Knicks alums who were in attendance. Ten of them posed for an incredible group picture that was posted by the Knicks to their social media pages. Take a look.

From left to right, that is Steve Novak, Allan Houston, Latrell Sprewell, Stephon Marbury, Tim Thomas, Walt Frazier, Bernard King, Amar’e Stoudemire, John Starks, and Gerald Wilkins.
While the iconic Frazier is the only one there with a championship ring (from 1970 and 1973, which are the two most recent Knicks titles to date), that is still a lot of talent in one photo. There are All-Star selections, All-NBA teams, All-Defensive nods, scoring titles, and more represented in that shot, all of whom played for the Knicks at one point in their respective careers.
The Knicks are famous for having plenty of alums (also including the likes of Patrick Ewing, Carmelo Anthony, and others) sitting at their games as well as A-list celebrities. While the fanfare has already caused some drama with opponents this postseason, real hoops heads had to have loved that group picture at Wednesday’s game.
