Knicks fans have vulgar chant for Reggie Miller
The New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers are renewing an old rivalry, and fans want to make sure Reggie Miller knows he is still a part of it.
Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Pacers and Knicks was broadcast on TNT Wednesday night. Miller, who is a color analyst for TNT, got quite the reception from the fans at Madison Square Garden.
At one point, an unmistakable “f— you, Reggie!” chant could be heard.

Knicks star Josh Hart wanted to make sure Miller heard the vulgar taunts. As the Knicks were putting the finishing touches on their 130-121 win, Hart walked over to the TNT broadcast table and told Miller, “I don’t know if you heard, I think they said f— you.”

Miller was not exactly an innocent bystander. Before the game, he said people have asked if he was worried about going to New York City and calling a playoff game given the history between him and the Knicks. Miller said he was not concerned at all because he has “owned this city” and “owned this building.”
"I’ve owned this city. I’ve owned this building."

The Knicks and Pacers met in the playoffs numerous times during the 1990s. Miller had some of the most memorable games of his career when Indiana played New York and even earned the nickname “Knick Killer.” There is no love lost between the two sides. Having Miller in the building while the Knicks went up 2-0 on the Pacers made it that much sweeter for fans in New York.
