The Knicks are in the market for a new coach after firing Jeff Hornacek following two seasons on the job. They have had 10 coaches (including interims) since Jeff Van Gundy was let go and could use some stability.
Blatt returned to Europe after losing his job with the Cavs midway through his second season with the team. Borrego is in his second stint as an assistant with the Spurs.
