The Los Angeles Lakers are adding a member of the Antetokounmpo family to their roster, but it’s not the one known as “The Greek Freak.”
Kostas Antetokounmpo was recently waived by the Dallas Mavericks, and Shams Charania of The Athletic reported on Sunday that the Lakers have claimed him. They will sign the 21-year-old to a two-way contract, meaning he could play in either the NBA or NBA G League next season. The latter seems more likely.

It goes without saying that Giannis is one of the most talented players on the planet, but he is not the only member of his family with serious skills on the basketball court. Kostas is still looking to make a name for himself at the NBA level, while his and Giannis’ younger brother Alex has insane measurements and will be part of the 2020 recruiting class. Talk about some ridiculous DNA.
