Kyle Lowry will opt out of contract, says he wants a title
Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowrymade an unsurprising announcement Monday morning.
Lowry told reporters that he plans to opt out of his contract and become a free agent — and he intends to use the opportunity to go for a ring.

None of this should come as a shock to anyone, and the Raptors almost certainly saw it coming. The 31-year-old averaged a career-high 22.4 points per game and seven assists, and may look to a different conference in his bid for a ring.
